Songs that are keeping me going right now

I acknowledge with respect that I live, work, and study as a guest on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territory of the xwməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam), Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish), and Səl̓ílwətaʔ/Selilwitulh (Tsleil- Waututh) Nations.

I would like to thank the land and water defenders, scientists, knowledge holders, leaders, and teachers of these Nations for all of the work they are doing and have done for millennia to protect and steward their territories. I am grateful to learn from your work and try to implement the Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada Calls to Action. In particular, I seek to leverage my work as an archaeologist to support Call to Action 45.i:

Repudiate concepts used to justify European sovereignty over Indigenous lands and peoples such as the Doctrine of Discovery and terra nullius.
